Referrals

tip

Refer someone to Frontier and you earn 10% of the trading fee on every trade they ever make - on any token, for as long as they trade. They pay exactly the same as everyone else; your reward comes out of the protocol's share.

How it works

Share your referral link. The first time someone trades through it, they're linked to you - permanently. From then on, every buy and sell they make on any Frontier token sends a slice of the trading fee your way.

There are two levels:

  • Direct - people who joined through your link. You earn 10% of the trading fee on everything they trade.
  • Indirect - when someone you referred refers someone else, you earn 10% of that on the newcomer's trades - a tenth of a tenth.

So building a referral tree pays twice: from the people you bring, and from the people they bring.

What that looks like

Say someone you referred buys 1 ETH (~$2,000) of a token. The trading fee is 1.5% - about $30. You earn $3 of that, on that single trade. Now multiply by every trade they make, every day, on every token, forever.

The trader never pays more because of you - the fee is 1.5% with or without a referrer. Your cut comes out of the protocol's share, and the token's creator still receives their 75% either way. See Fees & Revenue.

Claiming your earnings

Your rewards accumulate in ETH - as WETH, which is worth exactly the same and unwraps one for one. They pile up in a single balance no matter how many different tokens your referrals trade, and you claim it whenever you like from your referral page on frontier.fun.

There's no deadline and nothing expires: the balance is yours from the moment it's earned. Claiming just moves it to your wallet, so it's worth letting small amounts build up rather than paying gas on dust.

The fine print

  • Referral links are recorded once, on a trader's first referred trade, and can never be changed or transferred.
  • You can't refer yourself.
  • Everything is onchain - your earnings exist whether or not you ever visit the site again.
